We live in Buna Texas We evacuated and came back that evening after Rita hi,It was horrible,We could not believe the destruction,Trees were down everywhere on homes so many homes were destroyed,We were thankful how the whole community pulled together and helped each other,I don\'t believe anyone will ever forget Rita for a long time,I\'m thankful for Bunas Fire Dept,Forestryand mainly the Marines our thanks go out to them they stayed here the whole time we were without electricty,They were stationed at First Baptist Church in parking lothanding out water, ice and food I\'ve never waited so long for any of this we were in lines driving thru for hours, without gas we used our 4 wheelers to go there and back and we finally got gas coming in to some of the stores they used generators to pump the gas out,we waited in lines up to 6 hours, we really were blessed there is still homes without roofs blue tarps on roofs its said to see the people that can\'t get help especially the older ones that have no insurance like my parents, Fema turned them down but yet you have people that live in other states and came back and filed and got it these were say in their forties, whats wrong with this picture?
