Although i have never been in a disaster of this kind I have had family that has gone through this dreadful situations. When hurricane katrina happened i was actually working for payless shoes source, but in northern va, which is where i live. Although it didn\'t seem to make any impact on us besides gass prices the corporation decided to launch a campaing to help out those people that had been directly affected. Our mission was to collect shoes that were going to be sent back to the main factories and instead of sending them there, we were to ship them to different affected locations. Although, i didn\'t hand the shoes myself to these people, i kind of feel like i was part of the nations help towards these people, and it was a rewarding feeling to be part of something of this nature.
