It came through New Orleans and left a terrible catastrophe here. Of course, Delgado Community College was not an exception. After Katrina, Delgado has faced many changes for the worse. The scene of destruction at Delgado was heartbreaking; many buildings were damaged, the library was flooded, and most books were destroyed. Now, Delgado is only operating at fifty percent capacity. There aren�¼t enough offices for employees to work in. The students don�¼t have enough classrooms, computer labs and they also don�¼t have a library. In addition, many teachers have left after hurricane Katrina, the lack of teacher results in a lot of limited courses. However, students and teachers are struggling to keep up with their curricula. Indeed, Delgado is facing many difficulties; it needs some help and assistance in order to be restored.\r\n\r\n
