I evecuated for hurricane Rita on wednesday, the day befroe our county was under a mandatory eveacutain. I got home from school that evening and my mom and grandma were packing uo both of their cars. Within 20 minutes of me getting home we were on the roads. We went to Dallas Texas and the next day the rest of the family were on there way up there. My boyfriend went to jasper, after rita hit they came to the hotel we were staying at because they had no light. We were at the hotel a few days then we all went in on a 3 story beach cabin in Galveston Texas. It was so much fun we stayed they a week after they told us it was safe for us to go home.. we were having to much fun parting at the beach that we didnt want to go home until we absolutly had to.. when we got back it was a nightmare.. we didnt have any problem but with our pool. now that its summer time it was the worst thing that could happen.. but now were all settled in our houses and everythings back to normal..
