During the hurricane we evacuated to Louisiana. It really didnt hit us at all there, we just got heavy rain. A day or two after the storm we came home to see what had happend to the town and our home. The town was really bad. Our house didnt have no damage to it the day we got there. A tree had fallen across our yard and hit my grandmothers handi-cap vehicle, and smooshed the front in. We also had alot of trees in our back yard. Well we cleaned up our yard a little bit and we cleaned out our refrigeraiter and our deep freez which smelled harrible. Well we went back to Louisiana and came home when we found out we had electricity because my grandmother was on oxygen. The day we came back we were unloading and everything and I had triped over the carpet and it had come up so thats when we found out it flooded in our house. After a few weeks our window seels started rotting and molding and water had gotten in the cracks of our windows. But other than that we made it out good.
