I stayed in silsbee for hurricane Rita and nothing much really happened exept for some blowing and loud noises i was supposed to stay inside but i could hear puppies crying next door and the nieghbors had left to go to shreveport LA and were not home and it was raining and really dark so i had to bring a flash light and i went outside and ran next door got wacked in the face by a tree branch and i couldnt see the puppies or anything else for that matter but i could hear them so i followed there wines and i finally found them there was five of them my mom told me to just leave them there but if i was a baby i wander if shed leave me out in a hurricane so of course i brought them in there were five and i took care of them but they had already been out there too long only two lived and i own one of those two her name is baby i also put a jar out in the weather before it got too bad and now i have rita in a jar its great but nothing really happened to our house i had a hole in my window that was about it other than the puppies i slept through the whole thing. Katrina on the other hand, my entire family lives in picayune,Ms and when that hit there i lost my house and my life basicly my brother his wife and child lived there and they had no way to keep anything cold for the baby so bubba called up my mom and asked if we could come get them and of course being amother naturally she said yes well my grandmother doesnt like me or my brother because of who our father happens to be and at the time we were in the process of buying a home from her when she informed my mom that if we went and got them we no longer had any wheres to live so......we went and got them you cant just leave some one with a newborn baby with no air or any thing cold it\'s just not humane and well we no longer had any where to live no grandmother and mom had no mother because she chose to keep her grandson alive and health my grannys evil by the way but my brother is doing fine as well as my nephew he\'s almost 2 now and hes happy so thats how hurricane Rita and Katrina affected me as well as my life and family.
