My name is Danielle, On Thursday September 22, 2005 I woke up to find out my county issued a mandatory evacuation. In a hurry my family secured all my animals and packed all the cothes we were going to need. My dad had to stay here becuase he was on the storm team for entergy. My aunt and cousin came with me my sister and my mom. We left at 6:30 that afternoon for San Augustine Park when we arrived there we slept a few hours and left for Henderson TX. When we arrive in Henderson we watched the news and hoped for the best. On the tuesday after the storm my friend who was staying up the road from us left for home. My house made it but a lamb died and the storm caused two of my nanny goats to go into premature labor. We lost the babies and one of our nannies. After everything I was glad to be alive and healthy.
