Online Story Contribution, Hurricane Digital Memory Bank

We left for Texas when we heard that Hurricane Katrina was headed this way. I have a sister that lives in Texas and she graciously extended us a place to ride out the storm. We watched the progress of the storm on my sister\'s television all the way through the landfall and then the endless depressing coverage of all that happened to those who stayed behind to ride out the storm.\r\n When we were able to come back home the whole area was very depressing and no one that experienced the devastation whether you actually lived through it or came home to it will ever be 100 percent back to normal. The one thing that this type of catastrophy does is that it allows you to realize how precious life is and material things do not mean anything without family and friends to share them with.
