Hellicane: Poets Respond to Hurricane Katrina

So what remains of us\r\nWhen nothing remains\r\nWho are we after all\r\nAfter all the strong rain\r\n\r\nWho are we when frightened\r\nWhen down on our knees\r\nIs it only then that we\r\nSay, \"God help me, please\"\r\n\r\nYes, people are dying\r\nAs a baby was born\r\nAnd those that survive\r\nSay they\'ve been ripped, torn\r\n\r\nSome angry, some sad\r\nSome grateful for the old sports arena\r\nBut, the girl born today\r\nWon\'t care if her name is Katrina
