Causeway on Sunday_aa8c3aac06.JPG

Taken on the Causeway mid-day the Sunday before landfall. One of the things that continues to be a wonder is how everyone we knew took exactly three days worth of clothes. My wife and I evacuated because we knew the levees were not designed to hold back the anticipated storm surge, but still packed as though this was not going to happen. I think the packing job of this guy pretty much sums up the idea of what was important to take, and how ridiculous it proved to be in the aftermath.
