When Katrina was finally winding down, the sky turned bright purple in Mobile, Alabama. It was the most creepy thing we have ever seen. We have many, many more pictures of Katrina from Mobile, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Pascagoula. Additionally, I worked hurricane relief efforts after the storm with the Alabama State Defense Force. The donations were incredible to see and brought grown male soldiers to their knees in tears and gratitude. It was the most beautiful thing we have ever witnessed.
