After evacuating to Beaumont, TX for Katrina, my entire family decided to leave to go to Atlanta where my brother lived. My mom, sister, neice, and I stayed behind until they were able to find a place to stay. On the day that we were supposed to leave, our car broke down at 6:00 a.m. in a McDonald\'s drive thru. On this day I met the kindest people that I\'ve ever come across. After meeting a woman at AutoZone, she directed us to her ex-husband who was a mechanic. He then led us to a church who not only paid for us to get our car repaired, but they gave us clothes as well. Even though I can\'t remember their names or faces, these people will always hold a special place in my heart. Without them we would never have been able to make the 12 hour drive to Atlanta.
