While we were evacuated in Baton Rouge, we didn\'t have much information about the condition of our neighborhood, specifically, after hurricane Katrina hit. All my family had were vast areas of aerial views of our neighborhood and the area surrounding it. My father and I were able to pinpoint our neighborhood by using different landmarks. This was the only way that we could see how things were where we lived for months. Waiting was tough, but not knowing exactly what it was like at our house was the hardest part. These images helped us to better understand the condition of our area.
