When i first heard that we would have to evacuate i thought cool another vacation. I thought i am going to take 2 days worth of clothes and that\'s about it. Like i said i just of evacuating as an extended summer vacation, we would be gone a few days then we would return as usual. It wasn\'t until i saw the news a few days later that i realized how devestating the storm really was. To be honest i couldn\'t even grasp the fact that something so horrible could even occur in my city. But i like to look at the bright side of everything. We evacuated to Houston, Texas and there i met some amazing people and had a blast doing so. Of coure hurricane Katrina was life changing and devestating, but it doesn\'t make since to me to continuously regret something that i could have never prevented from happening.
