Apparently Google Earth doesn\'t update their images that often. I googled my address from before the storm, expecting and fully prepared to see someone else\'s car, someone else\'s life (someone did buy the home from us after we rebuit it) but instead, I found a perfect image of my home before the storm. My mother\'s red van to the left, my stepdad\'s old silver truck in the back. Our mailbox, our plants, our door. Our memories. It\'s a perfect snapshot, freezing what we lost in time. I had lived there since I was three. I can go back as many times as I want- and I do drive past frequently- but it won\'t ever be my home again.
