From the 1930s to 1975, this was the home of my aunt Mrs. Leonora Espinosa McGinty Zaumeyer. With 13 rooms, several family members lived there, including my parents and my sister when I was born in 1940. After 1975, 1719 became the home of one of the companies providing carriage rides through the French Quarter
