I grew up in Kenner, Louisiana, and always visited my grandpa at his house in Waveland, Mississippi. He was a large influence on my life and we had a lot of memories and laughs together. A few days before Hurricane Katrina my grandpa put a sign outside of his house that stated "You Loot We Shoot No Shit" because he knew people would go around looting houses and stores. After Katrina came through and demolished his house he received a trailer from FEMA. He kept the sign displayed on the trailer and actually had an article written on him for being so blunt. I continued to visit my grandpa at his trailer to make more memories.
