On that dreadful day august 24,2005 i couldn\'t believe this was happening to us. my name is nicole and im from buna,tx and on that day i remeber i worked that day i was so scared i did not not what to do. my life before the hurricane was very organized and planned. now months after the hurricane me and my little boy is stuck at a hotel for 6-8months. it was a total mess. but out of all this madness my whole life changed the way i think and my point of view about the world completely. i also met a great man on september25,2005 now we been together for almost a year not yet though. and we got a townhouse together and things were fallin back in place again. just as i was about to give up hope. so i look at rita as a positive influence about my life cause i quit my bad habits and me my little boy and boyfriend is doing real good. every once in a while i wonder what would i be doing if the hurricane would have never happened? but u know what i don\'t even care anymore cause im a new person with a new life. i pray for those whom are having a very hard time moving on and i hope this story motivates you that life really does go on!
