hello, I am a sixteen year old girl from southeast Texas. I survived hurricane Rita. My house is still fine and all my animals survived. I am very fortunate. It took me a long time to convince my mom to evacuate. We went to my sisters in Georgia. It turns out that she was right, we didnt need to evacuate. We recieved no damage, besides some fallen trees. I only wish everyone would have been as fortunate as we were.
