We watched the news on Monday and they said that we had a huricane in the gulf and that thier was a great chance that it would come are way..So in a rush to find a hotel room my mom called everyone and found one in Jacksonvilles Florida...And Thursady when the evacuation became mandatory we got to leave because my parents both work for the post office it would have took us on a normal day 3 hours but it took 17 hours for us to get thier we arrived at the hotel at 6am we had to wait till 12 to get into are hotel we stayed at the holtel till the day after and we had to come home cause my mom listend the the job update and they said she had to come home. So we went home and my dad came from Conroe to get me and we left with him to stay Vidor looked horrible we had to clear the roads to even get home..It has been really hard recovering i PRAY this will never happen to us this bad again..But in the day in a age thier is no chance for that
