When I was a 16 year old boy, there was something on the news about a hurricane coming toward my home town of Vidor TX. And at first, I didnt think it was gonna be a bad one, but then it got really worst out of nowhere! So, me and my parents and my little brother packed up and went to the only place we could which was still bad ...Buna. Because, my uncle lived there and he said we could stay. So we left early and got there a little later...and while all this was happening I had just started dating this girl named Heather and to this very day we are still together...And in a day or two the worst hurricane we ever had came. So that night we were all huddled up together in the living room and all night long we heard the bang and ripping of roots and the wooshing wind knocking everything out of place. Well the next morning we went outside and saw all the destruction that the storm left for us. Well we were pretty much helpless all we had to eat was the stuff we had packed before the storm! Well after a couple of days we got brave and we decided to try and venture out and try to clear a way to try and drive to anywhere. But, as we were cutting trees down and pulling them of the road by god\'s grace alot of people came with a big crane thing and cleared it all out for us. Well, aftre that was all clear for us to drive to town there was the army and FEMA there giving food to people. After, a couple more days of sitting there in the heat my dad and my other relatives had got in a fight and we left and we had to go back to Vidor with nothing there at all except the army and fema and we couldnt even drink the water! When we got there we had to clean out our drive way and stuff and we talked to our neighbor and she let us use her cordphone for emergencies only ..(yeah right) everynight I would sneak over and use her phone to call Heather because her lucky butt was in Houston in an hotel and so we talked every day till the lights came back on and we went to school again and then everything was the same and that\'s my story!
