During Hurricane Rita me and my family fled to San Antonio. We left around 11:45 Friday night and it took us about six hours to get to my aunts house. There was no traffic until we got to Katy. Luckly we had enough gas to make the whole trip. When we returned we were thankful that our house had no damage. The only thing that was damged was our yard. It took us about two weeks to clean up yard. It took about ten days before we got our electricity back.
