Online Story Contribution, Hurricane Digital Memory Bank

When my family found out that the hurricane was going to hit us we started packing all of our things and we went to hendrickson louisiana only a couple of hours before the hurricane made land fall. My dad woke up in the middle of the night and turned on the TV and found out that there were four tornadoes heading right toward were we were. We decided to start back home at five o clock in the mornning we were dodging trees all the way home. We made it home at eight o clock that morning when the hurricane was still coming onshore. When we pulled in my dads park we had to cut our way back to our house and we had about three feet of water on the roads. We quickly got to work cutting up trees as more trees were falling. We had about one hundred trees that had fallen and it took us almost two months just to get all the trees picked up.
