My Name is Ashley Chesser, and i am 15 years old. This past September i experienced what ended up being a life changing situation. On September 21,2005 I evacuated to Lake Sam Rayborn 3 days before hurricane Rita hit the Texas Coastline. The day that i left for the lake i had no idea what to expect when the hurricane was over. Well on September 25, 2005 which was my mom\'s birthday, we got a phone call from my grandpa, saying that our home was destoyed. It had 2 pine trees fall threw the center of it. I had no idea that when i left that would be the last time that i ever got to see my home the same, or even get to stay in the house. It was defintely a life changing experience, that i would never like to go threw again.
