Hurricane Katrina came and went and the storys left all of texas in awe. never did i excpect it to happen where i lived, i guess thats why things were so hard to deal with. My parents thought it to be best that we didnt evacuate but i didnt like the idea so i talked them into evacuating to louisianna. it took us 21 hours to get some were that would origanially take about 2 to 4 hours. a tree fell through my house during the hurrican but only actually ruined the laundry room so its still livable. i feel as if im one of the lucky ones through out this whole experiance so im not really complaining. after the storm i went to galveston to stay in a motel and actually had a blast!!!!
