Flyer regarding the Neighborhoods: 2426 Bradish Place music and multimedia installation in the gutted first floor of a Mid City residence. This was the third SITE-SPECIFIC ART INSTALLATION TITLED: \"NEIGHBORHOODS: 2426 BRADISH PLACE.\" The series was originated by New Orleans artist Robert Vicknair.\r\n\r\nIt was held SATURDAY, MAY 19TH, IN THE TULANE/GRAVIER NEIGHBORHOOD OF NEW ORLEANS.\r\n\r\nFor one night only, the third installment of the \"Neighborhoods\" art installation project was held in a residence located in the old industrial corridor sandwiched between Tulane Avenue and the New Basin Canal (now Interstate 10). \"NEIGHBORHOODS: 2426 BRADISH PLACE\" was a site-specific, multidisciplinary installation that took place in the gutted ground floor of the home of Michelle Levine and Clay Thomas.\r\n\r\nMichelle is an artist who is currently rebuilding her house and studio in the Tulane/Gravier neighborhood. Through the use of interviews with neighbors, soundscapes, live music, drawing, photography, and sculpture, this event confronted the range of issues the community is experiencing as they revitalize this neighborhood.\r\n\r\nVisual artists included: Shannon Crane, Courtney Egan, Scott Saltzman, Maxx Sizeler, David Sullivan, Jonathan Traviesa, Elizabeth Underwood, Robert Vicknair, and Monica Zeringue; sound by Anton Gussoni, and SpartieTucker, and music by The Panorama Jazz Band.\r\n\r\n
