I spent the first few days before, during, and after Katrina in Nashville. I worked for an environmental company at the time. My boss had us set up shop in Dallas, where all of the office and administrative staff eventually relocated, while the field crews continued to work on-site in the New Orleans and Northshore areas. I\'ll never forget the hotel room where I lived and worked for three weeks prior to returning home. \r\nMy own home had only intermediate damage, but the depression that took hold and festered in my father because of the storm is worse in my eyes than if I had lost everything.
