Before Katrina, I thought of Florida as the best place to live. My grandma lives there and every summer I go there to visit her. When Katrina hit, my family and I evacuated there and ended up staying there for 2 months. I quickly got sick of being in Florida. I longed to go back to New Orleans. Katrina tought me that there is no place like home.
