Last year at this time New Orleans streets were filled with potholes, but there were few roofing tacks or nails. We just had two more nails taken out of our car the other day and either the patch is not holding or we have yet another nail. Though a minor nuisance, even people who fared well following Katrina face an endless succession of such nuisances--not unlike water torture.
