Sierra Lee\r\n\r\n\r\nKatrina has changed thousands of people\'s lives. It has changed them physically, emotionally, and financially. Katrina was a major disaster that ruined cities like New Orleans, Slidell and small towns in Louisiana. During the storm I stayed in Mississippi , at this time I gained at least ten pounds and my hair was falling out. Therefore, I am a little heavier and my is a little shorter. Katrina gave me mixed emotions. I was very emotion because I was no longer able to return to my home that I knew for eighteen years of my life. I was an emotional wreck. It didn\'t help much when I saw the people suffering in the flooded streets of New Orleans. People were dying, children were suffering just the thought made me sick. But now emotionally I am stable. It is over and this now the healing process. Financially, I guess my family is good. My mother and grandmother are back in their homes living their lives. I am back in school so as of right\r\n
