we packed our bags in a rapid paste, i didnt even have time to get all my important things. we headed out with my friend will and his family to some place called center texas. It started off looking beautiful nice house after nice house then we took a turn ona dirt road and from then on it was all down hill. we finally showed up at our destination and what a sight it was. it was an old beaten down house w/ chickens and wild dogs running all over the house.I had the absolutly worst time of my life. We were in the middle of know where and i couldnt use my cell phone because i had no service. we stayed for for two weeks, it was soo hott after the hurricane passed. We finally got word that it was okay to return back to our hometown. When we got back and i saw the scenery it was like we were ina whole new town, many signs houses, trees were everywhere, a tree landed on our carport and our house flooded, it sounds a little bad but that is nothing compared to what some people had to deal with. so after the hurricane i just went around a helped people cut and haul away there trees. Hurricane Rita was my worst experience and i hope i will not have to live this expierience again.
