when my family heard that hurricane rita was coming my dad made everybody pack because he works for energy and he has seen in the past the destruction past hurricanes have done, but on september 21,2005 we left to sabine lake to one of our freinds house but soon after we arived we had found out that our area was being acacuated because they were afraid of the dam breaking so we went about 30 miles or so to my step moms sisters houes were we stayed throw the hurricane but we soon packed a few days later to go to my brother n laws because we were short on food
