My story starts out in the small town of Vidor a day before hurricane Rita hit Texas. Me and my family were heading to Georgetown just north of Austin to evacuate because that is were the nearest family was that was actually still living in Texas and away from were the was supposed to hit. It took us 32 hours to make what was supposed to be 6 hour drive. We stayed there through the hurricane and for about 4-5 weeks after. When we got home we found a tree on our house that put a hole in the roof just big enough that it made our house unlivable. it took approximately 3-4 months for our house to get fixed. In which time I found a job were I was. I now work in Lumberton, Texas at Cowboy Reds BBQ go to school and live in Vidor, Texas
