When we heard about the hurricane headed this way it was at least 4 in the morning and my mom came and woke me and my little sister ans we stared packing or stuff then we called me grandma and my anut to see if they heard about it becasue they were comeing with us if we had to leave, so when we got a hold of them they had already packed so they meet us at my house and we were gonna go to Damnbee and we lefted at about 6 in the morning and it took us untill 1 in the afternoon to get out of beaumont because of all the traffic. The night of the hurricane is something i will never forget i slept through it but when i was woke up to move to other house in the yard casue we were staying in a motor home it was the wrost thing i saw i couldnt not even walk outside cause the wind was bad i will never ever forget that. And the day after the hurricane my mom wanted to leave because all she could think about was if her car had made it becasue we had to leave it because we didnt have enough money to bring two cars so we lefted hers well we tried to talk her out of going back home cause the water of course was not on and niether was the eletriced but she didnt care so we went back and it shocked me all of the damage when we drove to beaumont and then we got to the nederland exit and the road was blocked and so we had to wait untill they unblocked the roads and after 2 hours they unblocked the roads and we made it home and our house didnt have and damage and neither did my moms car. Well we stayed in nederland for ays without water or anything and was ready to leave and go somewhere else because all i wanted was to take a bath, so we called my dad and he was in Dallas and me and my Grandma went to dallas my anut stayed in damnbee and my mom, sister and stepdad went to Louisana to stay with her dad and then they went to Sugarland in Houston. But after a month we came home and cleaned up and we are kinda back to normal and hopefully it wont happen agin.
