My family and I evacuated to Lafayette from the west bank for Katrina. After the storm passed, I moved into my aunt\'s house in Houma, La, due to my high school, Jesuit, flooding. I went to Vanderbilt Catholic for a month and then moved back home and went to Archbishop Shaw high school for the rest of the semester. I went back to Jesuit when it reopened in January. Needless to say, it was tough learning anything the semester after Katrina. My family and I were blessed to only have minor damage to our home.
